My Passive Income JourneyEntrepreneurship

I am now successfully creating a new stream of passive income by November 1, 2012, that generates at least $1500 per month on average and endures for a minimum of 10 years, and I am doing this in a way that delivers strong value for many others around the world.

That is my passive income goal statement. Passive income is revenue made while not actively working. I am currently following Steve Pavlina’s passive income series and I am ready to make that dinero! I tend to have a bad habit of reading books, blogs, and magazines galore and never actually putting into action the words of advice given. I am finally deciding to just take some advice and run with it. This passive income series came just in time, because I have been thinking about creating another stream of income that works while I sleep.

I have been working on a book about my journeys to Haiti for about a year now and I still have not completed the book. I am ready to get this book completed and let it make money for me while I sleep. I will be following Steve Pavlina’s web series and also will record my journey to passive income on this blog.

I already made my goal statement, I have printed out my goal statement and placed it above my desk, I have made my goal statement public, and I am keeping myself accountable by recording my journey on this public space.
I think I will make updates about one time a week, to coincide with Steve Pavlina’s postings.

The progress with my book has been interesting; I had an original idea, then switched it and now I am back to my original idea. If I had to give a percentage of how much of my book is complete, I would probably say 15%. Realistically, if I write about 1000 words a day I can finish writing the first draft of the book by August or September. However, I set my goal to November 1, 2012, but I do not mind finishing before that deadline.

Do you have passive income?

    • That is a great goal Jorge! It is best to start off slow and work your way up. I recommend also reading Steve Pavlina’s book ‘Personal Development’Like all his stuff, a great read. Good luck with your goal and keep me updated!

  4. Hey Lisa, our passive income goals are similar and both end on November 1st. I’m really stoked on passive income and flying at it full force. I’m building a website, about to record an affirmations album, and might write a book as well. Good luck on your book, keep updating your blog so we can all encourage each other!

    • Thanks for sharing with me Ender! I can’t wait to hear your album and possibly read your book. This is exciting to know many others are blogging their experiences!

  6. Hi Lisa!

I added you to my link list where I collect blogs of people who are taking part on this challenge. You can find the list in my blog:

Your book sounds interesting, but after I read your posting I was not sure if your deadline was for the publishing day of the book or getting it provide $1500 in a month?

I will surely drop by every now and then to follow how you’ll do. Good luck!

    • Hey Jaana! Thank you for adding me to the list, I will be checking it out. My wording is a bit confusing. I hope to complete the book by November 1st and when it is ready to be published it will provide 1500 a month.
